When I was in 4th grade, I went to Space Camp at NASA and decided to spend my life designing things that fly. Then about ten years ago I experienced a triumph of marketing, the Red Bull Flugtag event, and it was there that my vision changed. Now I design brands that fly. My speciality is customer acquisition and customer retention via making stuff people want.

Namecheap is GoDaddy's biggest competitor. I coach the 10 person marketing team and am responsible for their growth into new markets. My biggest projects are the data warehouse, new media and advertising, and the affiliate advocate network.
Sr Marketing Manager, Koombea.com, 12/2012 – 5/2014
Koombea is a 100 person mobile engineering and design agency. I ran customer acquisition and retention programs for our product lab. I drove lead generation programs that were responsible for Fortune 500 clients like Samsung and Aetna. I was also a mobile product consultant to our clients.
Marketing Manager (consultant), Conductive.co, 3/2012 – 10/2013
I care about helping businesses grow and sell online. As a consultant I build for my clients data and design driven marketing machines. This requires a blend of very technical development and creative branding/content strategies. Projects usually include user acquisition, web/mobile design, sales optimization, and performance analytics.
Music Marketer (advisor), Outlisten.com, 10/2011 – Present
Outlisten is a suite of YouTube marketing tools for musicians. I was in charge of creating the client facing user experience, sales program, and analytics suite. Now I serve as a non operational advisor to the company.
Content Marketing Manager, Bumebox.com, 5/2011 - 4/2012
Bumebox was one of the first companies to make a branded and performant social media experience, facilitated by Twitter and Facebook. In fact we were recognized by Twitter for doing so. As employee #1 I was responsible for all things marketing. This included making us a thought leader in the industry, building out our proprietary suite of social analytics, client content strategy, and running our lead generation programs. I also single-handedly closed Amazon as a client.
Analytics Marketing Manager, Moxsie.com, 11/2009 - 5/2011
Moxsie was the biggest eCommerce destination for independent fashion and was acquired by Fab.com in 2011. I ran our customer acquisition and retention machine spread across 10 different channels. My highest impact programs were the data warehouse, email marketing to 100,000 customers, first of it's kind Facebook and Twitter advertising, and an extensive and influential affiliate network.
Programs Manager, Coupons.com, 06/2009- 11/2009
Coupons is the first successful online couponing service, and in 2014 they went public. I worked on special team that managed our biggest clients like Kraft and General Mills. I oversaw millions of dollars on a monthly basis.
Econometrics and Calculus Instructor, UC Santa Cruz, 2009
I was voted one of the most effective and most fun student instructors in the university.
Social Media Marketing Manager, Mediazone.com, Summer 2007 and 2008
Mediazone is the US arm of Naspers Media, one of the biggest media companies in South Africa and India. I was the youngest employee in the 200 person office and was tasked with social media, even though it was not yet called "social media" at the time. I made us successful in 20 countries for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, and won YouTube publisher awards for the 2008 Wimbledon.
